Rise of A Hero - Chapter 24I yawn loudly and prop my head up on the the pillow. Kami is cuddled in front of me. I hug her gently and she snores louder. I twist my head around to look at the wall clock; 5:47. The first tinges of light are just beginning to paint the landscape. With the delicacy of a spider I climb out of bed and tiptoe into the main room. We are always driving. The mysterious driver never seems to sleep. Chiniro laid out on the couch, arms crossed, muttering something inaudible. I get a glass of water from the kitchenette and gulp it down. I tiptoe back in, he's awake. "I'm fat! I'm hungry! I have to pee! I wanna go home!!!"
I start to continuously smack my head off the arm of the chair, when Tamaya suddenly grabs my hair mid-smack and pulls my head up.
"Tell her she's skinny, give her food, find a bathroom, tell her we'll be home soon." He says absentmindedly, keeping his eyes on the latest chapter of Bleach he's been reading for the past twenty minutes. N

"I'M HUNGRY!" Kami yells in aggravated voice. "I'M THIRSTY!"
"Hey Niko-kid," Kiyo yawns again, tossing down her cards out of sheer boredom of the repetitive game. "How's the weather in Kyoto?"
